Form & Style
Form and Style @ Bösendorfer New York seeks to broaden the audience for solo piano music and the chamber music repertory through the vehicle of the lecture-recital. Professor Josephine Reiter’s focus in the lecture is to address the question: What to listen for in music? The recitals feature up-and-coming artists from the area music schools performing in the intimate setting of the Bösendorfer Showroom. Each program ends with an Austrian wine and cheese reception where the guest artists and audience members have an opportunity to mingle and exchange ideas and thoughts on the evening’s music, and to share in the aspirations of these talented performers at the start of their careers in the true Bösendorfer tradition.
